Upgrade of Service

Are you adding an out building, a hot tub or other items that will increase your electric usage? If so, an Upgrade of the MVEA facilities for your electric service may be needed.

Residential Service Upgrades will be provided in accordance with the terms of the current MVEA Line Extension Policy.

• Two Residential Load Data Forms, one describing the current load, and one with the proposed changes, will need to be completed and returned to MVEA.

Please contact the Engineering Consumer Representative for further information.

Please note that MVEA’s responsibility does not extend beyond the meter socket, so an upgrade of your consumer owned facilities may be needed as well.
